The Paint Job Begins:
1. Safeguarding your Property
Before any painting begins we move all furniture to the center of the room and it's covered with clean plastic sheeting. Then we vacuum the perimeter of the room. After that, the floors and carpets are covered with canvas drop cloths. We also vacuum above all door jambs and windows to remove any dust accumulation. Any other items are covered or moved out of the way to another room for protection.
2. Prep Work
It is the rule in the painting business that a “paint job” will only be as good as the prep work that is performed. Poor or inadequate prep work is the main reason for substandard results and failures in the final product.
Cracks and other imperfections in the ceilings, walls, and trim are patched and sanded with our dustless sanding process. Then we re-caulk all trim: door jambs, windows, baseboards, etc. for a solid looking paint job. No Gaps! Then we prime those areas with a stain-blocking bonding primer.
3. Painting
The ready-to-paint walls, ceilings, and trim are painted with 2 coats of high-quality paint to achieve a professional-looking paint finish with absolutely straight paint lines.
4. Clean Up
All our tools and equipment are removed from the room. The floors are swept and vacuumed again and the furniture is placed back in its original position and the room is ready to use.
Jcb Paintingprovides free color consultations and estimates. We also use premium paints, primarily Benjamin Moore but we are open to using what the customer may prefer and passing our contractor pricing onto our customers.
